Husband to Saleha Shaheen, father to three daughters and his son Abdul Azeez Syed — Nawab Sahab was the centre of a wide and close circle. He was devoted to his family above all else.

He believed in education before everything. He ensured that each of his three daughters had every opportunity to pursue their studies, and all three became doctors. It made him immensely proud — not in a way he spoke about often, but in the quiet, deep way that only a father who has watched his children become who they were meant to be truly understands.

He took his wife Saleha Shaheen on a world tour — not once, but as a gift he gave her over the years, showing her every corner of the world. It was a reflection of who he was: a man who worked hard so that the people he loved could experience the fullness of life.
